Biography
Dr. Gipson completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri in Saint Louis 1999 in both obtaining a bachelor’s of science in biology and a bachelor’s of science in nursing .She completed her four years of clinical training at Barnes/Jewish level I trauma center in St. Louis, MO. In 2001 she relocated to Dallas Texas to focus on expanding her job opportunities. She received her Masters of Science and Adult Health Nurse Practitioner certification from Texas Women’s University in 2004 in which she graduated with honors. In 2013 Dr. Gipson obtained her Doctorate of nursing science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. In May 2017 she earned her Masters of Business Administration in healthcare from at the University of Texas at Tyler. Dr. Gipson is black belt six-sigma certified and serves as a preceptor for the UTSW (University of Texas Southwestern) clinical safety and effectiveness students. Currently Dr. Gipson completed her PhD degree in Public Health with an emphasis on global health fromTrident University in May 2020. Dr. Gipson dissertation was on cardiovascular disease and takutsbo and cardiomyopathy improving health inequalities
